Miller Auto Dark hoods problem
to all who have purchased a Miller Auto hood xli series (ie the 205-999 millermatic limited edition one), please be careful if doing overhead work. There have been several instances where spatter gets inside the cover lens. If there is any spatter on the inner lens please stop using the lens immediately, the spatter will cause UV to be allowed through and give you a flash. If you do find spatter call miller. As a preventive measure you may want to tape the edges of the front of the helmet. be safe, BW
