  • ESAB Rods

Found a real good deal on about 180lbs of ESAB rods but don't know what they are for. They are references as All-State18T and the local dealer had never heard of them . He called ESAB and they said they have been discontinued. They told the dealer that they are for welding dissimilar metals. The box says they are a nickel alloy for welding nickel and dissimilar metal.

Any one know what these rods could be used for? Would they be for cast iron only or could you use it for anything....say rebar? Just kidding but could they be used on stainless or whatever?
