OK, I'm like a kid with a new toy and I have to show it off to everyone. Today at work, I finally got to lay hands on a TIG machine for the very first time. It is a Hobart, I think A TR250HF. I had one of the inmates show me how to set it up, and off I went. I AM IN LOVE! I played for about an hour with whatever I could lay hands on. Here is some of the best looking beads that I came up with. It is 14GA sheet mild steel. Had the machine set DCEN, flow at 30, HiFreq continuous, and if I remember right, the current was at about 20.
