mig is so simple, so point and click, that I cant do it at all. I have a 220 AC/DC box and can do thick, thin, vertical, flat, over head . . .
And to be quite frank I like being a stick burner, but I need to learn mig in order to do some thin aluminum without paying 3,000 for a tig machine and some thin stainless steel with out some fancy wire feeding nonsence. I have tried a 95 amp century on thin steel and HATED it. I have also tried a MM135 amp on 18 GA steel, PROPERLY SET BY AN EXPERT and also HATED IT. Mig just seems so cold and un-bondish.
Can any one tell me what the **** is going on here and why I hate mig so much, even though I like the idea of the quickness of it.
Be safe
