depends on you and your wallet to a certain extent. If you have chunks missing from your disk, replace immediately (as in if you look at it and it no longer looks round but looks like a piece of pie was cut out of it) That is a safety issue at that point. OUtside of that, if you feel you are having to force the grinder to do the work that it did with ease when the disk was new/replace. if the disk is so small that you are having trouble getting the disk to fit where you are grinding because the grinder itself is in the way/replace. OUtside of the safety issue, it is kinda up to your money situation.
