Am new to TIG welding. I am using a 3/8 " cup and 1/8 " tungsten. How do you weld an inside corner???? The arc always goes to the nearest side instead of joint. Do I use more runout on the electrode or go to a smaller cup/electrode?
In the not to good welding book I have is a brief description of plasma welding. Can a tig be converted for plasma arc welding by changing the torch handle?

What type of metal are you welding?...how thick?....can you post a picture of the joint in question?
Thickness will determine your tungsten size. I don't know what you mean by and "inside corner" but, if it is one where you have a tuff time getting into position and being able to see what you're doing, I'd start from the corner and weld straight toward you. Try to describe the joint better.
