What a difference!

As I said in some earlier posts, I have been taking a stick welding course. Up till now we have been using a 6011 electrode. We've used it in three positions. Horizontal, Vertical up, and Overhead. On Wednesday we used a 7018 for the first time. We've only used it in the horizontal position, but the difference between the two is unbelievable.

Hmmm...that's open to interpretation.
As a novice welder who has never used the 7018 I would like for you to expound on your experience.
