  • amperage settings for tig welding

Someone had mentioned a suggested amperage table settings for tig welding various materials. If anyone would have a link to a webpage I would appreciate it.
I am adding a HF unit to my buzzbox just to get a small tig setup. Any suggestions on this setup would be appreciated. thanks.
When in doubt hit the accelerator, it may not be the right thing to do, but it will sure end the suspense.

I don't know of a website but I did buy the Miller TIG calculator. It's great. It gives you a pretty good idea as to where you should be depending on what type and thickness metal you are welding.

Information provided by the calculator are amperage range, tungsten size, speed (inches per minute), gas and CFM, DC/AC.. I think that's it.. It's only like $2.50 I think.. I'd just get it.
