  • just some TIG practice

root pass in 6" sch.80. Black pipe. Didn't expect it to turn into anything, started out I was going to practice walking the cup then I laid a freehand root pass in and was very pleased..

Then a couple SS flanges on some 6" sch.10 316SS pipe, nothing critical, just a spacer/adapter.

Let me know what you think.. Cheers!

Nada...Just about a 1/16th land. Like I said I didn't even mean for that to be anything, I just got the idea in my head that I wanted to try and walk the cup on pipe and I thought laying in some fill and cap passes was going to be a good way to start, then out of nowhere I lay in that root...Wish I could do it on purpose hahaha.
