best arc bead?

how do you achieve the best bead? side-to-side motion, back and forth along the weld, half moon motions, or circular motions? anyoen have any suggestions?

Try them all...one of them will work better for you...everybody's different, that's why there are so many motions to choose from.

it also depends on what type of weld joint you're trying to make.
