    No the red arrows are pointing to the juice that was leaking out last year. The same crap that’s on the floor!

      You guys are only talking about Dynasty inverters. There happens to be other inverters out there that weld totally different. Just because one machine does one process better then
      others, does not mean the whole group does the same. Try pulsing thin stainless and
      see what machine type shines above the others. That is a area where standard transformer
      machines cannot even be in the same ballpark.

      LF-72 feeder
      Edwards 65 ton
      5X10 CNC table
      Victor A-120
      Miller Shopmate 300DX

        uf and mfd are the same = micro farad
        .1 mfd = 100,000 picofarads
        .1 mfd = 100 nanofarads
        4n7 = 4,700 picofarads
        n47 = 470 picofarads
        47p = 47 picofarads
        4p7 = 4.7 picofarads
        P47 = .47 picofarads
        I hope this clears things up a little. You may also see the following
        printed on resistors.
        1M = 1,000,000 OHMS
        100K = 100,000 OHMS
        10K = 10,000 OHMS
        4K7 = 4,700 OHMS less to print than 4.7k etc
        470R = 470 OHMS R or maybe r being used in place of the ohm symbol
        47R = 47 OHMS
        4R7 = 4.7 OHMS
        R47 = .47 OHMS

          Thank you very much vicegrip I really appreciate it.

          2 or 3 months ago a guy can to look at this machine to buy for his son. The leaking capacitors scared him. He went home and called Appleton, a Miller tech told him the only reason the capacitors were leaking is because the points are not adjusted correctly. That’s their story, and I’m sure they’re sticking to it

            Has nothing to do with it caps are like people ,some die sooner some go on & on !

            What is remarkable is that out of 4 units boss's G-star my G-star and two Airco's the airco that runs like a floor display , even knob settings are text-book , has the leakyest caps of the lot

            I won't even touch them I'll just see how far it'll go and hold on to the spares
