    You can run an Oxy tank dry, but Acetylene should still have some marks left on the gauge. There is acetone in the acetylene, as a stabilizer, and it comes out last. You will notice that your flame doesn't burn as hot when you are that low on gas. I have run them dry, but only on accident. Sometimes you can smell the difference, too. But don't sniff too much of it, it will make you a weldor for life. (just kidding)

    Tank Hazard?

    Is there any hazard to using either the oxygen or acetylene tanks until they are completely empty? Or should either be replaced with still a bit of pressure in them?
