Hi,
I was installing another 50 amp outlet for use with my welder [this one outside the back door, under the roof] and I noticed my daughter's little glass grinder. It is a little unit that is used for stained glass. It has a diamond wheel, about 4 or 5 inches in diameter that is horizontal in position.
Sooooo...the mind started clicking. Could one of these be used to grind tungsten? Would it be possible to grind both glass and tungsten on the same wheel, or would I have to buy one specifically for use with tungsten?
I never turned it on. I don't know how fast it turns. Maybe it would be too slow...
If grinding glass and tungsten would be possible, on the same wheel, without contaminating the tungsten, then I will turn it on and see how it looks.
Sooooo...I guess the question is...is this a hair-brained idea?
Grateful for any input...
