  • Teflon liners

At the custum grating shop I work in, we have 3 Miller extended wire feeders on our mig welders. We primarily weld aluminum and bronze, but we do get special orders for carbon and stainless. My question is, considering the price of teflon liners, would it be cost efficient to purchase a HH175 for the steel orders versus wear and tear on liners. I am guestimating 30-45 hours per unit per year.

I may be looking at this wrong, but it seems to me that the question should be...how many Liners can I buy for the price of the HH175. It is real handy tho, to have a machine already setup for the steel jobs. Saves time, and time is money

You are correct, I am not very articulate, but yes, how many liners vs. HH175.
