Its a little blurry but here is a titanium plate I TIGed with the newly aquired Power Mig 300. Just like a standard TIG machine 100% penetration on .0625" material.
Rangerod, did you buy the foot pedal for it?I only did a little ss with mine, but had the huge clunky 200 amp air cooled torch.Plus I had the Lincoln hand amptrol on it also.I could barely get my had around that setup. The lift arc works really pretty well on that machine.Mine starts everytime, and very softly.
Have you tried the 6010 stick setting?I think it might be one of those machines that does a good job.I am kind of thinking it might be like their 305G ranger(chopper tech),and if it is like that,it will add to what it can do really well. One more thing to try with that machine. I also would like to see some of your co2 mig welding with it,since it has a setting for that also.
I have not bought my pedal yet its a loner from a friend. I have not sticked with it as of yet. That is probably going to be last on the list to try. First I want to get as much as I can from the TIG because it is the biggest unknown on this machine to me then I'll start on the MIG which is going to be pretty involved then the stick. So far this machine is a monster I am pretty impressed with it but there is a long, long ways to go to get to the machines full capabilities
