hey everybody im new and i have a few questions. i know how to weld with a Ac/dc welder in ac but in dc where do i put the clamps? i mean in ac you connect one to what your working and one to the filler metal , but what do you do in dc? also what is the diffrence in the actual weld between the two?
    thanks for help

You weld the same way. You will notice different characteristics between the two, but the weld itself is the same. Just make sure your rods are compatible to the welding you will be doing.
