  • G213 Help

Just picked up an old G213 with a Wisconsin TJD engine. The engine was full of water and I need to tear it down.
Does anyone know how to separate the engine from the generator?
There are two holes in the housing between the engine & generator to access the set screws on the shaft but even with the screws removed, I cannot get it to budge.

Oldfart used to send out manuals for these, but hasn't posted lately. Try a search for G213,and you will get some threads. Also, post all info on your spec plate and Hobart experts might have some info.

      Thanks,
I got a manual from Hobart but it had no info on this.

If memory serves, this used a flex coupling with hub and keyway. There will two bolts that need to be loosened on the coupling. This is probably going to take a good puller to get these separated.
