  • Is anyone home?

It seems to me that the "improved" forum is just sitting here and nothing is going on.
What do I know I am just an electronics technician.

Other than the look and feel and more categories, I haven't noticed any real difference. Of course I always open the forum with the New Posts link

so I see them all on the opening screen and not the categories. When I want to post a new topic, I just look at the new categories. What's not to like (don't answer that lol)?

            Time will fill the void.

New members , will begin to make some difference , and after a while a few old ghosts will have to peek out of their cozy-zone , just to wedge an opinion in a tight place.

I think the activity is still the same, but you gotta look through all the "new post" dodads to see what's up.

I'll agree that the new format is uncomfortable, but I like the category approach. Some members may have interests that fit in only one of the new categories, and so be it!

If you don't have any interest in a certain topic, I suggest it would be appropriate to ignore that one.

But, if you're like me, and want to "be on it", then ya gotta bite the bullet and work through the maze.

Either way, it's still the best deal in town.

I think will be a bit of a transition from the old format, but not too much different from other forums I frequent. All in all I like it and appreciate the effort that Hobart has put forth with it.

If you don't want to see all the categories, just hit "New Posts" and move on.

IMO, it's been a good change.
