    Hi all,

I have been trying to be a welder for the last 20 years, with some success. I have manly work in the maintenance welding field here in New Zealand.
I recently purchased a Hobart Cyber-Wave 300 S as a bare machine. (To use in my home workshop) To be honest I know very little about Hobart or these machines but the price was right. Hobart is not very common in New Zealand. It is bigger than what I need but when is that ever a bag thing?
I purchased the Hobart off an old guy who had bought it at a government asset sale a long time ago, put it in his shed and never used it. (He had no three phase power).
Anyway the machine was cheap as it came with nothing and could not be test run. Got it home, plugged it in and she started straight away. I put some Arc leads on it and it put down a very nice weld. I am now keen to set it up for Tig and let it live on, but have more questions than answers. Questions to come....

    Thanks
Working...
