Smackwater now lives in Wisconsin. I have too many tools to list, and use them to entertain myself. If there is a tool that I don't have, I need it. Now, I just have to figure out how to use them properly.

So little time, so many tools...sigh.

I have about 40 hammers I've collected over the years. I'm still looking for the one that won't bend a nail or blacken my thumbnail.

If I were filthy rich, I think I'd buy up a few tool museums and collections and move them all into one place. Make a sort of Tim "the toolman" Disneyland.

I have the solution for ya'!!! Might entail a bit of fabricating, but isn't that what we are here for? Make yourself a slide hammer with a barrel that "just" allows your nail to slide in. Place the tool over the workpiece and whomp to your safe thumbnail's unblackened heart's content...or get your wife to hold the nails. Forget that last part or you'll have much more to worry about than your thumbnails...
