New member here. I've searched a bit for this topic. I've just aquired a tigwave 250 and after some tinkering with the process selector lever (it was seized up and the hub cranked) it's working well with all the bells and whistles. I've learned from this wonderful forum that some parts ( like the HF transformer) are getting impossible to find. My question is this. If that transformer goes bad is there any way to just copy what that transformer is doing with some new components? Can I take readings off of it while it's alive and get some kind of component that will do the same job? I really like the way this thing welds. Thanks for your time.
