  • New Hobart Welder? What's this?

Perusing on line when I noticed this photo of a engine driven Hobart welder on the Cyberweld website. It looks like it has a built in compressor. The control face has two controls. It has Hobart on the side. Anyone notice that before? It is not listed as an option on the Hobart website.

Can pretty much guarantee the LCD meter readout will be the first thing to die.

The LCD Hour meter is not new though.

Thanks. I'd be very curious what their track records are so far. I might dig around later if I get time. I still won't buy safes with electronic locks, too, but that's way more critical.

No, they don't have air -- it they did, they would cost ~ $5k more. We have an older model at work, and yes, the hour meter doesn't last well. Good running machines, though.
