Is there a polarity switch on a Sa250? if not what is it set up for Dc- or Dc+. New to these machines and looking for a little help. I know on the little air cooled lincoln engine drives there is a selector lever. Thanks for any info.

Haven't used one for years, but as I recall it's just quick-connects and switch the cables, and a dc voltmeter or a 6010 rod (reverse polarity only), will tell you the polarity.

      What Northweldor said.

On the 6010 rod, if you're running straight polarity (DCEN) it'll spatter like crazy.

I believe they are marked. Last time I used one was in Port Everglades at least 25 yrs ago.
