New airforce 12ci plasma cutter won’t arc

We purchased the Airforce 12ci yesterday. Assembled the torch per instructions, read the owners manual, connected the work clamp, turned it on and we get no arc. Read the owners manual again, followed trouble shooting recommendations and rechecked to make sure the torch was assembled correctly and still nothing. Any suggestions?

We plan to call Hobart on Monday if it’s still not working but really needed it ASAP.

You did not mention anything about the ground clamp. A good ground connection is of the utmost importance on a plasma cutter. Even the slightest rust will have a negative impact on performance.
