Hobart 250ci problem.

Hi Jeff,
Did you ever find a solution to the problem you were having with your Hobart 250ci plasma torch? Sounds like we might be experiencing a similar problem.

Could be a bad cup switch, check your cup and make sure it fully tightens and depresses the microswitch.

I have had this unit sense 2012 bought brand new.
The problem is I started to use it & the cup light came on this week, never happen before. I use 3-4 times a year. So I went to manual it said to replace the tip & electrode so I did. I tested it worked. The next day I went to use it, it started then light came back on shut it off to rest It think it started working then nothing. I said the heck with it & just put everything up. Im lost.
I have read somewhere that it could be a bad torch is this true? You can email if you like. [email protected].
