I am currently enrolled into a welding program and we were learning how to set up oxy acetylene torches but when he lit the torch it had started popping. our instructor has shown us his stack of credentials so I'm certain he adjusted it correctly. He hand checked the tightness of everything went as low as 3-4 psi and it was still popping. Keep in mind this is a brand new out of the box Harris torch he made sure the holes in the tip for the gas was clean. He made it our assignment to figure out why it's still popping so any pointers would be of very great use and i appreciate any tips
