  • Oxy acetylene pressures

Hi everybody new to forum, I have a question on pressures for oxy acetylene have a victor torch and regulators and was wondering how the pressures differ for different lengths of hoses, I have pressures for a fifty foot hose and I have a twenty five foot hose. Thank you

You won't notice the difference. But an accurate answer will more depend on hose diameters, and tip size.

I can remember going g thru this when I was a sprout and really didnt understand or get a grip till I took a session at apprenticeship with a real expert. All is a factor, length, size and no exact formula due to accuracy of gauges. The way to tell is at the tip with adjustment, also type of work. Precision is different than burning scrap. Tip condition is a factor. We used too much oxy back in the day for cuts.
