  • missing my Multi-Handler 200

Dropped my Multi-Handler 200 off at the repair center that tech support recommended for warranty work on on 3-12-21. It is now 7-8-21 and I still don't have my welder back in my possession.

Lift-arc TIG didn't function with the foot pedal. But Lift-arc TIG functions perfectly fine on my Multimatic 215 with the same pedal. Last I checked they were waiting on a back ordered foot pedal. When I dropped the welder off I told them my Multimatic functions properly with the foot pedal.
MigMaster 250- Smooth arc with a good touch of softness to it. Good weld puddle wetout. Light spatter producer.
Ironman 230 - Soft arc with a touch of agressiveness to it. Very good weld puddle wet out. Light spatter producer.

So it just needs its own foot pedal replaced? You could be using it for all its other functions in the meantime, and borrow a foot pedal from another machine if needed?

Who would have thought we'd have supply chain issues this year by shutting down all industry a year ago?

Well, it only took 7 months to get my welder back from the repair shop. Ok, they actually gave me a new unit, so I'll have to test drive it soon to see if this one is a good unit.

It was a small device, but it changed my life. I loved it. I used it for years and until one day, it just stopped working. I'm glad that I have a backup plan, but now I am left without a tool that was so important to me.
Why this post ?.......... You have no clue what a Multi-Handler 200 is.... It this prelude post for SPAM?

To give Dale some reading material I guess I should give an update on the my replacement unit. TIG with the foot pedal is real good. The lift arc starts are excellent. No stickiness in the lift arc start. Puddle control is very good.
