  • 175 handler problem

    Hi,

I have a problem cnrtc's handler. I have handler 175, I owned it maybe 8/9 years ago. A few days ago it stopped feeding altogether. When the trigger is pulled the motor start to turn, but only turns stops. I decided to change the motor drive transistor. Can I replace this transistor ( https://www.icrfq.com/part/1965609-2N6388.html ) for my motor drive? Or it's a ptc1 problem? I'm not sure this problem is coming from ptc1 or motor drive transistor. Could you please give a better idea? What should I have to do?

    Thanks for your help.

If the motor starts then stops then most likely the PTC1 (RX185). You can bypass(short) the PTC temporarily and the motor should run normally.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, the motor start then stop, so that is a PTC1 problem and I have to bypass the PTC1. OK, I will try this and lets see what is happening. Thanks again for your suggestion.
