Is it ok to push the puddle with flux core, I'm welding 16g square tubing and keep burning through when pulling, any advise would be appreciated. Oh yeah I have the HH 140 set on lowest setting for power and wire feed at about 30.

To decrease penetration, push the puddle and increase travel speed, and you may have to increase heat and wire feed to do it.

Reason for dragging electrode using stick electrodes or flux core wire is greatly reduces risk of slag inclusions in your weld. This is less of a problem with thin sheet metal so don't think it really matters welding 1/8 or thinner metal in one pass.
