Hobart 210 Ironman Gun

Hello , I have a 210 Ironman (220V) mig wirefeed welder. I have had nothing but problems with my welding lead. I have to allways keep it very straight or it binds un inside. I replaced the capulary-(spel?) and some other parts but did not help. My question is:

can i buy the Tweco or a similar style gun and lead for my hobart ? my buddy has one like that on his lincoln and it works great.

I believe it's the standard Miller bayonet back-end on that machine. So the answer is yes. Been a while since I looked. Don't go over 12ft in length because of the style of Drive rolls, only one is driven.

Just go to Airgas and pick up a smaller Radnor 10ft with a miller back-end Should be around $100.00 It uses Tweco 11 consumables. Good match for that machine.

Sac should be crawling with welding supplies. The gun mentioned is pretty common equipment. Airgas is all over the Sacremento area. If I order something from the Airgas shop up here it usually comes out of their main store in Sacremento.
