  • Lincoln 12.5 lb on a HH210

I have liked Lincoln wire in the past and am hoping that I might go with the 12.5 [larger] roll on my HH210. Is anyone running their 56 wire with good results? Should I look to a different wire for light duty car sheet?

    Thanks,

My HH210 doesn't really like Lincoln wire, esp L-56. The plain old 70S-6 wire worked MUCH better. Try as I would, the spatter would NOT tune out of the L-56. IMO, there are much better wires out there for half the cost of the L-56.

Mine worked fine with .023 Probably some cheap old weld-it in .023 would be great for the HH-210. I believe it's HB-28? Hard to beat it's soft type arc. I used WA. alloy in a couple of HH-210. .023 is excellent in the HH-210.

Yup, HB-28 is the wire that machine likes the best.

          Hb-28???

The 70s-6 makes sense to me but what does the HB-28 mean?

          Thanks

It's just what Hobart Brothers calls it.
