Ready Welder with a 187?

After reading this:http://pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/Readywelder/ I was wondering, could you use the Ready Welder II on a 187? In the article, it says you can hook it up on a constant voltage MIG to use it as a spoolgun for AL and stainless if you wanted. Basically, the question is, is the HH187 a constant voltage machine?

Hmmmm, right there on page one.lol So it looks like it's entirely possible to do the spoolgun cheaply with the 187 after all.
