  • Vertical Up Help

I just bought a handler 140, and I am wondering what are the best techniques for doing vertical up with flux core wire? I tried the typical up and drop technique, and triangles technique that I have used with good results on stick welders, but I haven't gotten very good results.

So if you have a suggestion, fell free to share it.

It mostly takes getting the right voltage and wire feed speed. Once that is done, you can use the technique in the video from the previous post, or even just a straight up stringer without any side to side motion at all.

i'd say the same thing as far as voltage and wire speed when you have the right settings you be able a bead just as though you were using rod
