  • HH210 running from a 5500 watt generator

I have a need to run my HH210 from a generator for a small job for work and we have a 5500 watt gen. set so I brought it home with me today made up a cord (50 ft. of 10/3) and gave her a go... any ideas how it went before I post my results ?

    Edit:
The gen. is 5500 running watts

Should have run decent. Maybe iffy if running on the high end.

No Ed I didn't fry myself .... it ran just fine even on the top end....6/60 with 0.030 solid wire.......the gen was working but I didn't have any unstable arc issues at all......

Would've made a better and more entertaining thread if you did, though

That was one of the things I liked best about the Handler 210. It ran fine from my 5-KW genny. Fixed the neighbor's gate running FCAW off the Coleman Powermate. Wish the 2-stroke wasn't so d&mn loud, though!

              Sweet.
