    It's an 1884 Flather lathe. The "old iron" folks are concerned that it'll get junked...

    "Need to make room. Must be gone by 2/13/09 or to the scrapyard.

    Lathe, all back gears, two chucks, face plate and tools.

    $275"

    Not mine, just don't want to see it scrapped if it can do any work at all. Even if it were used as a wood lathe or a pipe polisher, it would have a new lease on life.
