Don't remember where I had seen one, but, thought someone here may have seen or used one. It was a fixture that your grinder was mounted in/on that made the grinder into a mini chopsaw. Tried goggling it, with no luck. Hope someone has some info.

Harbor Freight has them in the store (and probably online). I think they go for under $10.00...at least on sale! I looked online, but couldn't find them on their site, but probably am just not calling them the right name. Try eBay!"Good Enough Never Is"

Ding Ding Ding...I found it.....
Turn your portable 4-1/2" grinder into a metal-cutting chopsaw! This heavy-duty metal stand doubles the versatility of your portable grinder, making it the perfect tool for cutting tubing, bar stock and rebar. Designed to hold most common grinders with side handles without modifications, the benchtop stand features a cam-clamp vise that adjusts from 90° - 45°. A spring-action return and built-in swarf guard provide excellent safety and convenience. Base measures 9-1/2" x 9-1/2". Grinder not included.George W. HF hasn't had them in a while, I don't think they sold well last time as the local store had a pile to sell at a real good reduced rate. I haven't seen any at the HF store in a year. I have one and it was for crap real sloppy. They all so have a 6" chop saw that is pretty good for the small stuff, and a real small 2" chop saw that works for the small nonferrous metal and wood and plastic with the small toothed blades.
glen, been there, done that and probably broke it!If you aren't on the edge. You'r taking up to much room

I shall call it...The Widow Maker 9000!(TM)
There is no way in **** you'd catch me using that. Give me a 5" grinder with a zipcut and I'll be happy. If I need a chopsaw, I'll go out and get a chopsaw!
The oddest thing that I've ever seen was someone using a 15" hard disk on a 7" angle grinder.Last edited by mb_welder; 12-22-2008, 01:20 AM.
