I have a Question if anyone can help me out. I just bought this welder and would like to know what kind of batteries I should be using with it. The guy I bought it from said it's a 24v circuit. I have 2 marine batteries hook up to it and she barely cranks. She'll start with the hand crank just fine. I was wondering if it was a problem with the generator or I need better batteries.

If it is 24v are the batteries wired correctly?

It's wired correct. I even ran new cables to the batteries. The old ones looked pretty ruff so I changed them out. I charged the batteries buy maybe I have a bad one. I guess I'll have to buy some new one's and see how that works out.
