  • welding lead hangar?

    Anybody got any good ideas for storing my welding leads in a service truck cabinet? ground and electrode cables are both about 100' with disconnects on them, with the welder between the cab and service bed.

    You could do a search for welding carts and see what others have used on them, then adapt the ideas to your truck. Or you could get creative. Are you wanting a reel? Or just a hook?

      i've thought about something alaong the line of a reel maybe, 100 feet of leads gets to be a pain when I have to put them up. I'll check out some cart idea's, thanks.

        If the doors are big enough and up to the weight put an upward pointing hook near the top and a downward one near the bottom on the inside.

          hang them on the door, inside? thats an idea i havent thoght of, and would free up the bottom of that cabinet too! I'll look into that, thanks.
