Come one come all.. Come young, come old.. Come Man, come woman...

    Come to ............ http://www.blueblaze-usa.com

But when you come, bring your honest opinion with you. I know what I'm asking for is here, I've been reading this thing for over a year now and have seen the innocent ripped to shreds and the old with a false sence of grandeur. So bring all you have to think and say to the board, and yes, I know I have brought this on myself. And by the way, have some fun with it boys.

Looks nice - As a customer I'd like to see photos of work you've done... pictures really help sell a service.

The only real flaw I see is a big one, in my mind for an advertising website. Requiring a potential customer to go and install a third party "widget" in order to see the map to your location is a real problem. I'm sure there are plug-ins that integrate seamlessly into your page without forcing the customer to do additional work to find you.

Looks ok to me. Your prices are very reasonable. Good luck with your new venture.

              Website critique

I don't understand the 'box' around the text... Another small thing, some of the words in the box aren't in the box; just looks a little strange...
Also, the 'time/date' thingy infringes right on your name... I really don't see a need for it...
"installation of these pieces" You forgot a 'period' after "pieces". I know that that's pretty picky, but you did ask...

I think you are way too cheap. So cheap I wonder how you will pay your bills.
The shops in my area that work for that kind of money disappear pretty fast.
Unless you have deep pockets and are booked solid.
Heck you even got some welding cheaper than drill press work. I could sub you out and stay home
                Just my opinion...YMMV

The price of welding varies greatly around the country. Down here in the South we can't charge the same as people in the North. Every thing is cheaper here and I personally like it like that. I've travel quite a bit in my life and the only thing that I seen that stayed about the same price was a gallon of milk. The cost of living changes every where that I've been and it all equals out to about the same, except in the Keys. If you are earning a higher amount up North then your guaranteed to pay more in taxes and utilities and/or rent, right down to groceries..

Point being is that my prices are just under my competitors and yes our pockets aren't that shallow and my shop has a lot of production on two different ventures and we're always looking for more. So if you think you can make money off me, go ahead and do just that, I'll take your sub work and end up with the contract before the year is out. I'm just that good.

I did take the price page off. I think I need to look into it a bit more before posting another one. I got a lot of response saying to never post prices and that mine where too low anyway and sending a bad message. But I'm only just under my competitions and we can't compare to welding prices up North.

We should have a good photo gallery soon. I got a couple of interesting jobs coming up that will do well for that. I think you are right about the contact stuff and I'm off to do that now.

It's not too bad I guess. I would personally make the pages a bit bigger to fill the screen a bit more. And I would probably just say that we (you) are a newly formed company rather than saying that you started less than a year ago.

I didn't get to see your pricing structure either but it must have ruffled a few feathers since you decided to take it down.

                        goodluck with it

Nice Page ! Especially the animated smoke !

I hope you get some action from it. You might consider putting a reduced copy of the web page on "post cards" ... some to hand out, some to mail to businesses that might need welding within ... maybe a few 100 miles.

Well it's nit-picky, but the beginning and ending frames of the gif should be closer to identical so that it doesn't glitch. Did you see the movie Speed? Remember the part on the bus? Otherwise it looks good. Something I try to do when putting a web page together is to try it out on different web browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera), though I do realize that you are tied to whatever platform you are running on your computer. As an example, the webmail that we use at work is Microsoft Exchange. It works well on Microsoft's browser, IE. But it doesn't work as well in Firefox.

Otherwise, it's a nice clean website.

FWIW, I like the fact that I don't have to scroll to get all of the information that is displayed, but that too is a balancing act. I only have a 19" monitor with a middle-of-the-road resolution. Some people with smaller monitors might still have to scroll, and people with huge monitors (and the huge resolution that might go with them) will find that page too small.

                              Just some thoughts.
