extention cord

It will be a 90 ft cord essentially but the welder will run fine from that provided there isn't other things running from the same line. With a 10 wire you could be out 125, 150 ft no problem depending of the quality of service.

I was thinking that the 75 foot from the house to the garage must be added to the extention cord. It would be like using a 90 foot cord.

sure, even a bit longer will be fine. I was under the impression that you wanted to add another 75 ft.

I want to make a 12fot trailer and I have a small garage
I want to make a 12 foot trailor with my new hh210 and I have a small garage that is loaded with equipment. I will have to make it outside. Don't look like I have much choice.

A little will depend on the incoming voltage as to whats acceptable, that is a total of 150 ft and the 210 runs about 20A or so with 030. I wouldn't want to run much farther than that from a 10 but if this is going to be used much the cord will be worth it, very expensive to run an engine drive for any amount of time doing general fab work. I would want to be plugged in to the wall if I could. The big point of a Champ is stick machine, I use sticks away from the shop, I wouldn't want to fart with moving other equipment unless I absolutely had to.

extention cord
I have 10/3 wire going from my house to the garage about 75 feet away. My hh210 works fine, but I need an esxention to get out of the garage.I have a 30 amp breaker it the house and in the garage. I am thinking that I will have to add the 75' to the extention cord to determine the length of the cord that I can use. How long of a cord can I make?Tags: None
