I just got an e-mail from Tractor Supply that stated 15% off for selected welders. Has anyone checked to see whick ones were selected? It said today only.
I dont know which ones but I did call today about the 210. They said it was marked down to 765.00. Still not good enough where I wanted to jump on it since the miller will be out in a week or so. I would like to see what price it goes for first. Now if it was 680.00, the Hobart would be sitting in the garage right now. For about a 5% off discount, they could have done a little better to get folks running down there.
As good as the HH 210 is, for $765 I'd already have one at home.
Based on my experiences, I've learned over time, the Miller name on the side of the unit doesn't guarantee its the better unit.
MigMaster 250- Smooth arc with a good touch of softness to it. Good weld puddle wetout. Light spatter producer. Ironman 230 - Soft arc with a touch of agressiveness to it. Very good weld puddle wet out. Light spatter producer.
Drove down to pick one up today but they were out. Was going to hold off to see the prices on the MM211 but I know its not going to be anywhere close to this price. They did give me a rain check. Guess I better get my butt moving on running the 230 to the garage.
Mike get the HH and be happy...the Miller I bet will be $1000 easy.... and like Dan said the Miller blue doesn't warrant it will be better than the Hobart and for less than $800 the HH210 is a deal...add the SG for another couple hundred and be a happy cat / dog
