dont see how you could afford to pay for the shipping from metalsdepot.

gotta be local some local suppliers cheaper... phonebook will probably have a few in it.

          Onlinemetals

I buy from onlinemetals.com (similar to metalsdepot.com) only if I need something special. It is expensive, but they carry very good quality and you can get small quantities. For the vast majority of my steel, I go to Triple S Steel in Knoxville TN. They are headquartered in Houston TX, but several other locations. Good prices, service, and quality.

            Lot’s of steel & stuff

            Lot’s of steel & stuff

There is a huge steel supplier in Southern NJ (just South East of Philadelphia). Their information follows; Joseph Fazzio & sons, 2760 Glassboro-Cross Keys Road, Glassboro, New Jersey 08028.

This place sells all kinds of steel (lots of mild steel) a huge choice of fasteners (nuts, bolts & screw of all grades and sizes, used and new equipment, hand tools) too numerous to list on this post. It would take a few days to look at all the acres inventory they have.

My hobby is blacksmithing and has only welded in the forge until I purchased a 140 to make jigs & templates. Needless to say, if you like steel and hardware this place is a smorgasbord.

Cool. Thanks for the info. Glassboro is about 75 miles away for me. I will keep it in mind to a trip some day. Sounds like some cool place to see.
